Helen and Kosta's commitment to quality quickly garnered a strong reputation, leading to numerous referrals and a growing portfolio. By 2018, HKC Construction expanded significantly, opening its first office in Mississauga, and has since evolved into a national company serving various sectors in the construction industry. Today, HKC Construction specializes areas of general contracting, construction management, and design/build. Our expertise spans across commercial, industrial, institutional and residential sectors. As an industry leader, HKC Construction is proud to collaborate with McMaster University and the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering in a groundbreaking initiative: the Sustainable Infrastructure Training Program.
This program, generously funded by the provincial government, marks a significant step in our journey towards more environmentally responsible construction methods. Our involvement, underscores our commitment to not just building infrastructure, but building it right – with sustainability at its core.
The Sustainable Infrastructure Training Program is specially designed to address the current gaps in the construction industry. By focusing on training professionals in the latest sustainable practices, we aim to create infrastructure that is not only resilient to the changing climate but also efficient and long-lasting. This initiative is a response to the growing demand for skilled professionals in sustainable construction and reflects our dedication to innovation and excellence in the field.

When HK Contracting was founded, we had a vision of building a company that would revolutionize the construction industry by exploring outside the norms and being the market leaders who drive innovative change. HKC went from servicing property management companies and working in over 100 buildings in the GTA, to expanding relationships with developers, engineers, and architects throughout Canada.
As we begin 2021, we are excited to announce a new company name that best suits our design and construction services – and expands our limits as more than just a general contractor. Our Design/Build and Project Management capabilities expand through all sectors of construction including Commercial, Industrial, Retail & Residential sectors.
HKC Construction remains committed to our clients by providing exceptional quality, service and expertise towards all projects. We have incorporated innovative technological advancements that streamline the construction process while reducing overall costs. These include leading edge project management software that allows 24/7 full transparency, and clear, precise understanding of the project scope, timeline and budget; and a wireless leave in place sensor embedded in concrete that uses conditions inside and predictive mathematical modeling to estimate the strength of the concrete in real time.
